• 4 x 10s fixed schedule some nights and weekends; 7 on 7 off considered
• 13 - 20 patients per provider, plus new admits and consults
• Inpatient hospital setting
• EVD placement, shunt taps, lumbar procedures required
• Adult neurosurgery inpatient coverage only
• H&Ps, admission orders, daily rounds, and discharge summaries
• Pre/post-op management included in daily duties
